    Microsoft never sends unsolicited patches out as email attachments. It is almost
    certainly a worm or virus. However if you are using a virus scan program that scans
    emails and it is up to date it should catch it. It is very important to use virus
    protection. Just delete the email. See link on proper procedures to keep your
    computer secure including how to really check for critical updates. --- Steve
