DAHotFix.exe comes from where? Is it just a component of ANY Windows
install that has MDAC on it?

I searched for info on it on Google, and, there were few hits, but, in one,
the writer stated that "he'd tried to run a patch with /Q (like I did), and
got, instead of a quiet install, the "OK Screen" which he "understands comes
not from the patch, but, from dahotfix.exe".

I also gather that you tried your own suggestion by using dahotfix.exe /q,
and, with this patch, it doesn't work, which IS different from all other
patches?

Soooo...there IS no way to install this patch silently?
