Messenger Service is not the same as Windows Messenger or MSN Messenger. If
you disable the Messenger Service your computer is still open to others on
the Internet and you are still vulnerable to hackers and worms such as
Blaster. You need to start using a FIREWALL so that spammers out in the
wide world can't use your own equipment to serve spam to you on a platter.
