I think what you have done is load the wrong service pack version in
comaprison to your installation of IE6. You should have loaded the 128-bit
encryption version of SP1 to match your version of IE6. Try to uninstall
the Service Pack 1 for Internet Explorer through the Add/Remove Programs in
the Control Panel. If that doesn't work, use Add/Remove to also uninstall
IE6. That should put you back to version IE 5.5 which is probably a 128-bit
encrypted version. If you don't have a version of IE 5.5 try looking on
just about any version of AOL's free CD's and look in the subdirectories of
that AOL CD. They all have a version of IE 5.5 on them Look for ie5setup
and run it. Try IE 5.5 and see if you can reach those websites. Then
reload IE 6 and then obtain the 128-bit encrypted SP1 through the MS
Internet Explorer support site.
