Hello and thanks for the information. I had this at hand
the first time but it's unclear for me what the rules are.
At this location I can read June 30 2003 as a date
where "System Builder License Availability (end date)".
Still at July 16 Microsoft releases a hotfix for the last
vulnerability. Under "Security Hotfix policy" I can also
read;
"Business Windows Desktop Software: Security patches will
be available through the end of the Extended Support
phase (five years Mainstream phase + two years Extended
Support phase) at no additional cost."
To me this means that hotfixes will be released until
July 28 2003. So this is OK looking at the last release
but as I continue to read there is a new table that
says "End of Life (effective date after end of online
self-help support)" is June 30 2004, well this is more
then 8 years after "Date of General Availability" so now
I'm lost again.
