The first thing you have to do is kill the msblast.exe process. The
second thing is to install or enable your firewall to block more
infections. Then clean the worm out.
Then worry about the patch install. If you are still having trouble
installing the patch, you should "catch up" with SP1 and other updates
first because this patch is only one month old and I'm not sure how well
it will work if you don't have SP1. Windows Update has a troubleshooter
page for all the common errors.
