You make a conscious choice to buy their products... you are not obligated
to do so. What makes you think that as a company they are somehow obligated
to be *this* secure, whereas *this* is some arbitrary value you (or anyone
else) comes up with? If security is your primary concern, I suggest you go
try a BSD variant.
