Open IE, then from the Tools menu, Internet Options, the Security tab,
see if your setting is medium.
Now it should prompt you before it downloads them. If it still doesn't it
means that it is an ActiveX control that is either unsigned or not marked as
safe. You can go to the custom settings and ...i say this with great
caution....under Active X controls, you could change the two marked as
disabled to prompt you instead.
If you make this change, i would suggest that after you are done reset the
settings to medium again to restore security.
