Re: ad aware and spybot - a waste of time???

a word about spybot: it can imunize your computer at a manual given moment.
i downloaded IMesh and installed the program.
then i checked the machine using Ad-Aware and Spybot
only to discover 70 (!!!!) new spyware elements in my computer.
above all that, it took a re-boot and re-scan using the two detection
programs
to be able to delete all the remaining spyware that refused to leave in the
first go.
i still thing it's not very useful
its not all automatic and it doesn't protect you on its own.
i will try what you suggested.
