Hello,

I should provide the need before the solution: We have a
highly vertical ap that we want to uniquely deliver
software specific for one and only one platform. Our
customer seems highly motivated to copy this softare and
it must be prevented. We have 2 weeks to come up with the
solution.

Our thought is to create a unique platform ID which
incorpoates as many identiifcation means as we can code in
windows 2000 API as possible.I'm hoping it contains as
many of the element that make a platform unique such as
CPUID, MAC address, hard drive serial numbers, USB IDs,
what ever. With that ID we will sign a secret and
generate custom hard-compiled code unique for each
platform.

We are willing to pay a consultant fee for assistance, but
we need the solution out the door in 2 weeks for today.

Regards
