Hello there, I have encountered a small but serious
problem.. My computer was having lots of problems. So I
had it taken in and had the hard drive cleaned and
reformated. I also had a partition that had my data files
on it. Now the fact that it is a work computer, someone
other than myself had applied some encryption on the
files. I now have my files back but can't access the
files because of encryption. They are either in use by
someone else or they are read only. Is there anyway to
access my files? One thing I should note is that I used
the certificate snap-in program and found a certificate
that was issued to the account that I want but no private
key was with it. I read somewhere that if I could restore
my user profile for that account, it would contain the
key. Well i tried that and found the user profile, but no
ntuser.dat file was there. Any suggestions.

Thanks in advance
