I just got an email from a friend of mine which came with
an attachment for a nature screensaver. He said he didnt
send me any attachments. When I went to open the
attachment there was a message from hotmail
saying, "unknown virus scanner failure virus found.", so
I didnt open it and deleted it. It gave me the option of
opening it or going to a microsoft site for virus
protection. When I clicked on this site, it took me to:
get more storage space for your hotmail account page. I
did a virus scan on my computer after this happened and
everything was ok. but this morning I went to send an
attachment of one of my photos to a friend and I got a
similar message, only this time saying there was a virus
on the attachment I was sending. Again, the option took
me to the same storage space page. When I tried to send
the same photo later, everything was fine and this message
never came up. What's going on? Thanks
