My environment requires very strict controls on what machines I touch.
Accidentally touching the wrong machine would be ... bad, very bad.
My initial goal is to maintain two site with approximatly 50 machines at
each site. I was thinking of kinda reversing this and making a list of
machines not to touch. I still can not figure how to filter an array with
an array, so that is kinda out at the moment.
I use HFNetChk within the script to check hotfixes. Using HFNetChk on
more than a couple of machines is a pain, even with the HFReport. The
information is not formatted in the way that I wish and all machines are not
viewable in one list.
I am going to make varios output subs. So you will be able to choose
what info goes where etc. I prefer the simple format and capabilities of
Excel for my output. Allowing me to perform some complex funcions easily
without fuss. I will make subs for text file and html (IE?) at some time.
