Appearing Icons

New folders with links I have never seen appear in my
favorites (IE 6) on a somewhat regular basis. Icons also
appear on my desktop (Win 2000 Prof) and start menu that I
am unfamiliar with.

I assume that some file has been planted on my hard drive
that runs on a regular basis to place them there, but my
virus software does not find anything. Deleting temp
files and cookies also does not help.

Any thoughts?

Thanks so much.

Ted
