    hello,
I am running XP home SP1. when I go to setup the fire
wall for a network adapter, I get a WMI error. I open the
properties for that network adapter, click on the
advanced tab and it says that windows can not display the
properties because the WMI Information might be corrupt.
it says to do a system restore to fix this. system
restore is not running on this system. any ideas on how
to fix this? I did some looking online and one site said
    to delete the C:\WINDOWS\system32\wbem\Repository folder,
restart and windows will recreate the correct files. I
    did that and nothing happened.
if you have any ideas could you please email them to me
at Snowcrossmxz@netscape.net. thanks a lot Alex
