When you create a share, you have the ability to define who gets to access
the share.
So, RMouse on the folder that is shared and pick "Sharing and Security".
Your choices now are to allow everybody, or define specific access for
people or groups. On the Sharing tab, the [Permissions] button will define
the "everybody" catagory, and the Security tab (on the top) lets you define
security per user or group.
There is a good article on how this works under Help and Support (actually,
it is a KB article).
do a Start->Help, and type "XP share permission", then click on "Microsoft
Knowledge Base" and pick the article named "Description of File Sharing and
Permissions in Windows XP".
