We are having difficulty installing MS03-011 (q816093) silently on NT 4
workstations via SMS. Calling the patch with "-q /R:N" switches
generates an error message, "The authenticity of this content cannot be
verified therefore it cannot be trusted." And "error accessing the
online revocation server". Previously, we had worked around this error
by setting SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AdvancedOptions\CRYPTO
\CERTREV\CheckedValue to 0. (This key seems to correspond to IE's
"Check for publisher's certificate revocation" setting.) Nonetheless,
with this particular patch, only under NT 4, users see the error
message. They must click a button to continue.
Any ideas?
Thanks
