NO, it does not sound trustworthy, based on the fact that I cannot find that
    file name by searching www.google.com

    I would do this:

    http://securityadmin.info/faq.htm#hacked
    http://securityadmin.info/faq.htm#re-secure
    http://securityadmin.info/faq.htm#harden

Note that if you don't have antivirus, www.grisoft.com is free antivirus.
http://housecall.antivirus.com won't protect you but will scan your computer
for viruses for free as a second opinion to your antivirus. If you do have
antivirus, get the latest possible signature updates from the manufacturer's
web site or update feature in the program.

If nothing is found in the virus scan, I would submit that file to your
antivirus vendor or any antivirus vendor using the instructions on their web
site. www.sarc.com is one place you could submit it to [makers of Norton
    Antivirus].

There are some other things you could do to research that file [right-click
to get properties, open it using Windows Notepad, use the Strings command
    from www.foundstone.com/knowledge, etc., but that's a start.
