Mike, your problem is now becomming a regular problem for
all of us on the internet. The message you received
warning you about a so called, "security alert" is simply
another form of spam that takes advantage of MS
Windows "Messenger Service", NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH MS
MESSENGER! They are two different programs.

To fix your problem of getting these annoying pop-up spam
messages, you need to turn OFF or STOP your messenger
service. To do this, following these directions:

1. Start - control panel - Performance & Maintenance -
Administrative Tools - Services - (scroll down
to "Messenger" and single click it to highlight it -
next, rick click "Messenger" and go to "Properties" -
under the "service status" line, click STOP - Apply - OK -
and YOUR DONE AND WILL NEVER AGAIN GET ONE OF THOSE
ANNOYING "MESSENGER SERVICE WARNING MESSAGES AGAIN!

Remember, this has NOTHING to do and will NOT effect your
MS messenger that you may use to send instant messages
and to alert you of new e-mail messages.

GOOD LUCK!

Sean
