Thanks for the responses. No, I do not use Outlook and
have never even worked thru the set up. I use the Juno
software to access the internet thru their servers. I do
not have it set up to check without my interaction.
I thought that this was the first time that this has ever
happened, but my wife says it did it to her once. As
often as I leave the computer on, I am quite concerned
that this has happened before without my knowledge.
Any ideas on a setting that that would make it impossible
for my modem to dial out unless I instruct it?
