1. What do you mean offline ? The D drive does nothing, right ? Are you
saying it locks the pc when it goes offline ? Type msconfig on the Run
mneu and, on the Startup tab, remove the check on the ScanRegistry box.
2. Is it IE that locks up ? If it does, look in the link for "more Help"
or something like that (on the error page) for more info on where the
problem may lie. Have you updated all your drivers ? Defragmented the HD
? Run the Repair utility for IE (Add/Remove icon on the Control Panel
and choose Repair after you click on "Remove IE").
