C# .NET = Handing out your source code???!!

I'm being told, and seeing articles that C# .NET is
not "Closed Source". That is, anyone can easily get
source code from your compiled EXE file.

So far, I love .NET.. but knowing that the code isn't
private changes my mind. What gives?
