Sometimes it helps to go into internet options on the "tools" menu and on the program tab click on "reset web settings"

  They have a Help link that says "To remove and change this homepage
  click here." which leads to http://198.143.5.90/help/cleaner.exe if
  you want to risk it! Personally, I wouldn't touch it with a
  barge-pole, but I mostly use Mozilla anyway. I have been hit with this
  kind of problem through Outlook, but I've stopped using the preview
  pane because of it.
