I have a Win2K server and an XPPro desktop on the same
internal network. Both are members of the same named
workgroup. I can ping by name each other from their
respective desktop. I can access the file system of the
server from the XP desktop. I CANNOT access the file
system of the XP machine from the server. I have
provided similar account names and PW's on each machine.
When prompted for a user ID and PW I place the name of
the WG\userID and PW and get the log in prompt back
without access. Any suggestions?
