About my firewall

Hi
I'm having trouble with my firewall. I believe I had a
virus or worm come through my firewall and disabled it..my
antivirus ask me twice to clean the file..loadqm.exe. I
did this but I guess it was deleted the file instead. I
now have a different firewall on my PC but it doesn't load
up when wins starts. Can anyone help me with getting my
firewall to load when wins start?
