I agree. I've been told that SMART warnings are usually correct. Back up
your data files to floppy or to a CDRW drive [you can get these for like $40
US now]. The more you power your machine off and on or use your machine,
the more risk there is that it won't start up again. Tech support for your
computer or company, if you have any, can possibly help you with file backup
and windows reinstallation when the new hard drive comes, and either tech
support or the manufacturer of the hard drive can do a replacement.
