OE removed access to unsafe attachment

Like Terry D. I cannot open attachments since I downloade
a critical updates package. I tried uninstall and
reinstalling IE and OE programs but the problem remains.
Cannot find OE properties in control panel to modify the
security settings also. I run norton 2002 and know my mail
and attachments are scanned for virus and want to know how
to disable OE from removing access to my mailed
attachments.
