accessing secure sites help plz

Hi

I having great trouble accessing secure sites and i have
done everything that i can think of to changing security
setting on I.E. to reinstalling windows ME and also
upgrading my I.E from 5.5. to 6.

Could anyone help me with is as it is really getting on my
nerves now.

Is there also anywhere where i can download the orignal
setting for I.E
