98SE is mentioned explicitly in the patch--98 is not.

That said, I looked at this for a bit last night--I thought I might find it
in a WindowsUpdate install log, but it wasn't there.

However, thinking a bit more clearly today, it IS there on a WIN98 IE6 Help,
About--so my recollection of having installed this on Win98 is not faulty.

Yes--it does work on Win98--I suspect this is just an editorial error.
