Why not reading the post before posting unnecessary
comments like these? Windowsupdate tells everyone and
that includes people who are running MDAC 2.7 that the
update is available and tries to update. Then it finishes
by saying these updates cannot be installed. Theve event
log says that the error is "unspecified." Running the
update manually likewise does not warn users about
checking what version you are running. Instead it blindly
goes off and tries to update over 2.7. If this was not
such a big deal then why do you think so many people are
posting about it.
