MS Outlook Express attachments rei.eml

I am using MS Outlook Express version 6.00.2800.1106. I
just received an e-mail with pictures attached and got
this message:

"OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in
your mail: rei.eml."

I cannot do anything to this file to bring up the
pictures. I consulted the help and got nowhere. I used
to be able to see pictures, but recently downloaded
updates from MS, and apparently a security mode was
installed that turned off picture display automatically.
Can anyone please help me by providing specific
information as to how I can go into the software to turn
picure display in e-mail back on? Thank you very much! I
appreciate your help.
