I'm not sure if is the right newsgroup....? Anyhow,
I'm looking for a straight download of IE6 SP1 (without having to install
it) or without downloading the self installing package. I am on a modem and
I have about 10 computers to update and I don't want to download >30MB for
each computer because it is impossible and files get corrupted along the
way, yet I want to keep my computers up to date.
Why isn't there just a simple download, or if there is, why is it so hard to
find? The same goes for all Microsoft updates (windows, office etc), and
things like Windows Installer.
We do not have an administration install setup, yet we need many computers
to be updated, and currently we only have a modem.
Even if we were on broadband I would only want to download it once. Why is
it so hard to just download once?
Please let me know of a solution to this problem.
Thanks
Matt
