You don't just want one security patch. You need them all, plus you need to
have your computer correctly configured, or else you're already hacked.
Download service packs and patches at www.microsoft.com/download
[note that you want patches for Windows, Internet Explorer, Outlook Express,
Office, Windows Media Player, etc. Just installing Windows patches and
service packs is not enough.]
Follow instructions for securing Windows [and IIS, if it's installed] at
www.microsoft.com/security
Download MBSA from www.microsoft.com/download to scan your computers for
missing patches and other security risks due to misconfiguration.
