Q: MS02-053 & Office 2000 Server Extensions?

Hi,

I posted this question a week ago to
microsoft.public.frontpage.extensions.windosnt and got no
answer till now. Perhaps anywhere here can help me:

We're using NT 4.0 / IIS 4.0 with the Office 2000 server extensions.
Part of the Office Server Extensions are the Frontpage 2000 Server
Extensions.

But this patch (MS02-053) cannot be installed on this configuration, because
the patch quits with the following error message:
"Microsoft FrontPage 2000 Server Extensions is not installed or has an
incorrect version."

I extracted the files from the patchfile fpse0901.exe with parameter /C /T
and viewed the FPSE0901.inf file: There is a check for the reg-key
HKLM,"SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\fpse2000
which is not available within then Office 2000 Server Extensions!

So I replaced the existing "fp4Awel.dll" (directory "webser~1\40\BIN") by
hand with the patched one and rebooted my system.

My question is, is this enough or is there anything else to do?
