MSN...Yes, No, More Info, were the buttons to choose from
on the dialog box. I chose yes and the system began
downloading. I noticed it was taking a long time to
download so I decided to activate the games window. It was
down. I activated the download window and it was taking a
long time to finish. I decided to end task rather than
close the box because I figured "end task" using the task
manager lets the computer finish what it's doing;
whereas, closing the Security Dialog Box doesn't.
Since my personal computer is in use by my brother in
Roseville, CA, my only access to the net is public
computers wherein I don't have admin or domain admin
privileges. So I tried to download Task Manager from the
net, that paticular download was successful but I wasn't T
able to gain access to it so I could end task on the
previous download. The usual message "Access Denied"
or "You do not have sufficient privileges" did not pop up
when I tried to do the download. The previous download was
simply taking to long. I closed the Security Dialog Box
because my time was now up at that computer.
I hope Your system wasn't locked up for too long.
When you check your security logs on your Windows 2000
Advanced Server(s) computers, could you tell me why the
system locked up and what was the name of the game I was
trying to download?
Sincerely,
Randy Sanders
