address bar

hi friends
when we start to type an address in the address bar, the
drop down menu gives a host of addresses or websites and u
have the option of selecting one or typing in the entire
address again. Example if we type in www.n.....the entire
directory of addresses with n is dropped down.

i dont want the address bar to give any drop down
addresses.

how can i stop that?
