With any patch you should always to a risk assesment. How at risk are you
for this vulnerability? Can you wait for a security roll up package (SRP) or
should you apply the fix immediately?

If you are at risk, applying the patch is ussually the safer approach. Being
hacked or getting a particularly nasty virus will hurt you more then
installing any patch.
