Network Share Permissions

I am trying to convert our netware network to 2000 server
and i am running into a problem of folder permissions. i
want to set up a share to contain all of the users roaming
profiles. The problem i have is i want the users to have
rights to their individual folder, and not to the entire
share(to keep them from messing with other users data). is
their any way to do this short of setting up a share for
each individual user, or a group for every user, i would
like to have as few shares and groups as possible,
considering our network needs some 12,000 user accounts on
it. any help would be appreciated
