I have a computer that I need to configure, so that the
user does not have the ability to change the start menu,
ie: Drag and drop items onto it. I have tried editing the
NoChangeStartMenu variable in the Windows registry at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
\Policies\Explorer and I have added this variable to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\Policies\Explorer. I have both variables set to 1.
I restart the machine but this seems to have no effect. Is
there any other way of doing this. The pc is running
Windows 98.

Thanks for any help
Brian.
