Unfortunately, the law does not rely on "common sense". If MS had meant
specifically that they could remove software to remove software that
disables DRM IN THE MEDIA PLAYER, then the EULA should have said so.
Additionally, by installing this patch to cover a hole they have left in
WMP, why should I give them the right to AUTOMATICALLY DO ANYTHING on MY
computer?

Frankly, I'd rather remove WMP altogether, but of course, being a part of
the "core OS", I cannot. Just mark this down as another right that MS has
managed to take away from us.
