Something called "Residential Gateway" has appeared on the
task bar of my 1 year old ME-based PC. It keeps popping
up and saying that I can create an icon for it on my
desktop if I want. It started about a month or so ago.
On the properties tab, it simply says it is by Microsoft
with no other info. There is no apparent/easy way to
delete it. Right clicking on it does not produce that
option. I am unable to find where it is actually stored
on my machine either.

Anyone ever heard of this? I wonder if something creeped
into my machine. Scanned for viruses just a day or so ago
and got nothing.

Thanks
