I'm confused. It sounds like your password was reset. If it was, then you
should be able to log into your email and change your password back to what
it used to be.
You don't mention your email provider [I'm assuming it's yahoo], but I would
say you should contact their support personnel. Create a new temporary
email account if necessary to communicate with them.
If you are 100% sure your password is correct and the caps lock button is
not on [try typing the password into the login ID field to confirm that none
of your keys are broken or something], it may be that someone broke into
your email account and changed the password. Just a possibility, it's hard
to say for sure.
