Help! Past 3 days I cannot access any secure websites. Hotmail, ticketmaster.

What is wrong? I know it has something to do with my
settings. When I try to retrieve my emal from hotmail I
get the login page but then it tellsme "cannot find
server". I tried buying tickets this morning from
ticktmaster and I got the same message as well as with
Amazon.com. Does anyone know what I need to do with my
settings? I have tried all combinations? Do I need to
reinstall internet explorer? Thanks for any help!
