That may be (he does seems to have a couple of bones to pick, and it seems
like he uses sensationalism for marketing), but the tests appear to be
sound, there are several different ones (a couple of which I haven't been
able to find elsewhere, such as the UPnP and socket tests), and they can be
used to confirm the results of other sites' tests. And if you can wade
through the sensationalism, he's got probably the best descriptions of DRDoS
(Distributed Reflection Denial of Service Attack) and related topics for
laypeople. Plus, he's got a lot of useful freeware. And SpinRite is no
slouch when it comes to defragging (although I prefer VOpt).

Although it's often difficult to avoid (and I am not very good at it), this
is an issue where evaluating principles is more valuable than evaluating
personalities.
