GRC.COM is helmed by Steve Gibson, author of SpinRite and ShieldsUp!
security testing website for Windows users.

He has a sizeable stable of available freeware and his site is loaded with
knowledge regarding computer security and privacy issues for users of
Windows-based PCs.

Steve is currently developing and testing a next-generation DNS analysis
tool that will ALSO be freely given away to all who visit his site.

He DOES draw a lot of surfers, and that makes for some jealousy among his
peers, unfortunately.
