They were able to get my real IP address too. My guess is that perhaps your
web browser gave up that information. Being scanned by a web app that you
initiated is not the same as being scanned by a hacker, so that does not
necessarily mean you are vulnerable to a hacker scan. On the other hand, if
you were tricked into sending your web browser to a hostile site, there are
a number of things that they could try to do on your machine, depending on
your browser and installed patches.
