Morning all. I'm new to this newsgroup, so if I violate
any protocol, I apologize up front.
Anyway. I'm trying to learn about ActiveX secruity
concerns. I'm an eLearning Program Manager. On my current
project we're trying to deploy animated learning products
created using shockwave technology.
Our secuirty folks are saying we can't use them because
shockwave requires ActiveX, which requires end users
browsers to go outside the firewall to get a plug-in if
they don't already have it. So my question is there a way
to load activeX without going outside the firewall?
Thanks,
Stu
