Win98 can "connect as," too. If you don't see any way in the win98 printer
setup to enter a login ID and password, try mapping a permanent drive to the
server, ideally through a login script or a batch file in the system
startup, but it can also be done by right-clicking on network neighborhood
if you really need to. [doing it this last way makes it harder for you to
change the password on that account on the server.] Once you've done this,
I would hope that win98 would cache the ID and password used to connect to
this server and reuse these credentials when you connect to the printer. I
could be wrong.
