No, this does not sound like a virus. It sounds like you have either something wrong with your sound card, your speakers, or interference next to the speakers. It really isn't possible for me to guess without either more information from you (see below) or seeing the machine and your setup. In any case, this does not sound like a virus. Of course, you should be protecting your system with an antivirus program and a firewall.
