After reading perhaps three thousand threads over the past five years that
'David Lipman' joined in various anti virus newsgroups, and then reading the
threads involved in this discussion, I posted my suggestions. In the best
of all possible worlds, 'ToddAndMargo' would have asked the question "How do
I display ALL processes in Windows?" posted to, say,
microsoft.public.windowsxp.basics . Or even more directly, use the string
[ display processes in Windows ] . First hit does the trick,
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/utilities/ProcessExplorer.mspx
"Process Explorer for Windows v10.21".

| Strange thread???
|
| After refering back through the original thread (link from Todd), looked
| to me like Todd was clear enough on what he was looking for and repeated
| his question a few times. Some assumptions where made causing the thread
| to take off in a direction unintended by the original poster (Todd).
|
| Anyway... dumping on Todd was a bit unfair in light of his entire post.
